Clément Leblon publishes nuaaance as a private, non-professional project and is responsible for the personal data described on this page.

charts and browser storage

Your charts, scale settings, theme and interface preferences are stored only in your browser using local storage. They are not sent to nuaaance, Cloudflare or Google. You can remove them by deleting charts in the interface or clearing the site data in your browser.

This storage is necessary to provide the saving and preference features requested by the user. Nuaaance does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

optional analytics

If you allow analytics, nuaaance sends page views and uses of selected app controls to PostHog Cloud EU. These actions include adding a scale, opening settings or the preview, using the visual test and opening or downloading the Figma export. We send a random ID for the current tab session, the interface language and the referring site. We do not send chart names, colors, HEX values, feedback messages or email addresses, and we do not record sessions.

Nothing is sent to PostHog before you consent. Your choice is stored in this browser; a random session ID is stored for the tab only after consent. You can refuse or change your choice through analytics preferences. PostHog lists one year of standard data retention for its free plan.

feedback messages

When you submit the feedback form, nuaaance processes your email address, message and current chart name. The purpose is to answer your request and use voluntary feedback to improve the tool. The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in communicating with users and improving nuaaance.

The email address and feedback message are required to send the form and allow a reply. They are not used for advertising or added to a mailing list.

Feedback messages are kept for no longer than 12 months, then deleted unless a longer period is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

hosting and recipients

Only Clément Leblon, Cloudflare as hosting and delivery provider, Google as email provider, and PostHog as optional analytics provider receive data required for their respective roles. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, routing information and security metadata when visitors access the service. Google processes the feedback delivered to the nuaaance Gmail account. PostHog processes consented analytics on its EU Cloud infrastructure in Frankfurt. Like any network recipient, PostHog also receives the IP address used to send an event; nuaaance does not add it to event properties.

Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their contractual and privacy documentation. See the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum, Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

cookies and similar storage

Nuaaance does not place advertising or analytics cookies. Browser local storage holds charts, interface preferences and your analytics choice. After you allow analytics, tab session storage holds a random analytics ID. Analytics is off until you opt in.

Cloudflare may place strictly necessary security cookies when protective services are activated. These cookies protect traffic and are not used by nuaaance for advertising or cross-site tracking.

your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send the request to nuaaance.design@gmail.com. A response will normally be provided within one month.

You may also submit a complaint to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).

security and changes

Nuaaance limits collected data, validates feedback on the server, restricts repeated submissions and uses browser security policies. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

This policy will be updated if the service starts collecting additional personal data or changes its providers.
